What would make you quit the hobby

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I've just looked in one of my cichlid book's and it has a office worker cleaning a tank (with no fish in) using the python water changer. I have looked and can't find one for sale anywhere.

I would only quit if school got too much or if I had to move into an apartment.

If my fish were to die, I wouldnt quit. I would just slowly start again.

take a large pot, fill it with water, put it on the stove and heat it to 80 degrees. Then pour it into your water heater and turn the faucet with the python connected to it on and simply fill.

The first time I quit this hobby was when my parents got pissed and had all my tanks thrown out (along with the fishes). After about a year, I brought home a small 5.5 gallon tank and they accepted it

The second time was when my last pair of stingrays died, and because I didn't have the time to take care of the fishes (it was during the Summer, I was out all day and all night with friends). I started buying more fishes again, just recently.

I had to quit because of the Marine Corp. I'm back though! :P
officer or enlisted?

If my current stock of fish were killed off, I would waste no time at all in finding new replacements. There are so many countless species I yearn to keep, but can't, do to limited space...
