It looks like the tank might stay a saltwater afterall... mom wants the pretty fish that float around the tank. :(
U could do koi angelfish.... If your mom like nice fish then angelfish she will like. :D

Surprized with those dimensions... no ones suggested Discus... I'm assumeing you've got reef lighting on the tank? so simply changeing out the bulbs and you could switch it over to a very nice planted set-up with a group of discus. I'de def do a group of wild discus, and a school of rosalines.

I didn't suggest discus because I don't like discus. But that's just me ;)

Yeah discus don't move much. Schools of tetras/rasboras chase each other all around and with that size tank combined with live plants you could have quite a display in my opinion! :D

Mir ist kalt, I'm loving the German name and sig. Taking German 3 at school right now.

I think it is staying a reef. I just need to get everything right. My potter's angelfish disappeared yesterday nowhere to be found (even after taking out all the rocks), and the flame angel ate the xenia and the gorgonian.

Oh, and Loves severums I used to have a school of adult angels, 8 koi, 4 black lace, 2 wild, and 2 yellows in my 180 gallon. I plan on re-doing my 90 gallon just for angels (I have a pair in my 180 gallon that I would like to move so I can add a peacock bass, a florida gar, and a clown knifefish).
