So Ive sold the pleco to get rid of the poop machine. And now Im looking to buy 3 Herichthys Pearsei so I can find which one will have the best color in the next 8 months or so. Then I will sell 2 of the Herichthys Pearsei so my stock would be 1x Herichthys Pearsei

Im planning on getting some more driftwood and plants to make more hiding spots.
Then in a year or two I plan on upgrading to a 220gal+

I think you might have aggression issues between the cichlids if you just go with two and they're both male. I'd add more medium-size new worlds or not bother with more. Hope the eel is pretty active because if not, that sounds like a lot of empty water.
