Looking for Ideas: For a 180 Gallon Tank
If you were filling out your tank and already had the stock listed below, what South American species would you add?

5 geophagus sveni
12 Phenacogrammus aurantiacus "Lamp-eye tetra"
20 hyphessobrycon cf. pulchripinnis "orange"
7 coydoras splendens Emerald

For SA cichlids due to most of them getting big enough to eat Cories and tetra, I would stick to guincara, blue acara, festivum, Bolivian rams, Angels maybe

I think some scalare(spelling) would be nice.

I think a colony of Apistogramma would be awesome. They are beautiful, and never get big enough to damage anything else in the tank.

If your not caring about your tetra, then Heros Notatus.

A group of biotodoma cupido or wavrini

A group of Bolivian rams or biotadoma cupido for cichlids.
Or maybe a group of anostomus.

I have some cupidos and they are good with tetras and they look really nice

The tetras are very expensive ones, so I have to pick fish that wont eat them, LOL!

I really like the cupidos! That is a thought. I was thinking about another group of geos , but wasn't sure if I had enough room to introduce another group.
