I HATE hondas (i dunno, some personal problem I have, perhaps a bad childhood experience??) but I have to say, I had to sit in the backseat of a CRV for 5 hours last weekend and I was SHOCKED at the fantastic legroom. REALLY GREAT. Kudos to CRV... even though I would never buy one, I now actually respect them!

That's what my friend said too. He is about 6'5" and 320. He said the CR-V is one of the few cars he can fit into the back seat comfortably.

The biggest downside..is that it's labeled as a soccer mom's car. But, I have never been pulled over in this car and that is a big plus. The cops probably think I am running behind, trying to get the kids to their game or something.. :screwy:

well since i drive a jeep and it is the best bang for the buck i wouldnt worry about the baby issue the passenger seat pops forward with the flip of the latch raises up and forward right to the dash lots of access .
if you want to save a buck on the cost and on insurance mine is a basicly a dressed 4cyl model with a 4.0 engine a broker ordered it that way my cost went down a 3rd from the sport Sahara i had last year and the best part its a couple hundred pounds lighter has vinyl
seats great for spills in my case mud i have all the same basic fuctions gages radio and subs are all the same just dont have the extra plastic trim inside and a stickers

i like the fact that the rubicon has the dana 44 and arb air lockers in it already that is alot of money i dont have to spend aftermarket te lr3 also has really nice offroad features i just cant decide around me we have a few trails that are more mud than rockcrawling so i would beef up the rubicon suppension but not the lr3

for mud the dana would be good maybe the new rubis are better but the guys in the jeep club i hang with dont like the older models i'm not up on last yyears model or this year

That's news to me about the Rubicons. I was basing my experiences on test driving standard wranglers at the dealership.

Air lockers are sweeeet....

The rubicon also comes with a beefier transfer case, lower gearing (low range is insanely low), skid plates, a little more ground clearance, and are overall a lot tougher. This is my friends with sway bar disconnects.....the articulation is great and if you're climbin rocks lockers are a must. I wouldnt trust (or not feel bad about) taking any of the other vehicles mentioned out for a day of wheeling.

Get it now as the new Jeeps will no longer come with the 4.0 I6 engine. Chrysler is scrapping it and putting the 3.7 V6 in it's place.

then again thats just a good excuse for me to buy a tricked cj with a v8 :D

i feel dumb i always went after the cheaper models every one up my way stayed clear of the rubicons are the US models speced different or did my blindness towards the model cause me to miss out on a nice sounding package.
i sold my sahara model because it was cosmetics

if by spaced you mean wheel travel, they are the same. My buddy just had swaybar disconnects.
