Don't leave the hobby, just downsize to what would be practical for you to keep.

Sell everything else and just keep your Widebar. Don't get rid of something that you will have difficulty attaining later.

Keep

13" ST split bar
1 x 6" Fei Feng
1 x 10" Leichardti
1 x 8" NGT
1 x 4" NTT

Sell

2 x 8" NTT
1 x 3" NTT
1 x 8" IT
1 x 10" Leichardti
1 x 7" Jardini
1 x 15" Leichardti

I didnt read all the posts but why dont u keep the main things that you like and sell the rest... maybe get a smaller tank?

Or sent some of the fish to have a sleep over at a friends house and sell the set ups till you can start over?

Depending where you are, the 100gl could spend the night at my place for as long as you need.... just a thought

Hmmmnnn... Thanks for the input guys.

West1, that thought actually crossed my mind more than once. I hope that the members that I see as my friends wouldn't mind a fish or two added in their collection for a certain amount of time.

It's specially hard to let them go because I grew them all out for two years except for the ST and the gold bar.

Maybe I'll just kick my sister out of the apartment and split her rent with me and my brother. She's the one in dire need of cheaper rent and free food which the parents will happily provide for her. Just her though 'coz she's in a financial bind and she helps out with the daycare center.

This thread made me not to get out. And to think that I was thinking of upgrading...

Here are some of my fish. See why it's so hard to let them go???
