Jardini aro would be cool. I do like stingrays but they are a little out of my price range though and as for the geo's I already have 2 geos in there i wanted to get away from cichlids if possible. let me list some fish i like.

Polypterus sp.
Aro's
dat's
Vampire tetras
sleeper gobies
snakeheads
larger catfish
knifefish
all kinds of oddballs
barbs
giant gourami
snakeheads
pike cichlids
characins,

you name it. I already have a flag tail in there thats about 4".
just thought it would look better without the cichlids and have a monster tank with some real cool monsters. I grew out a florida gar juvie a few years ago and they are very cool interesting fish

A silver aro in a 5 foot long tank :duh:

Florida gar species tank. (only gars). OR a florida biotope. Honestly gars sit at the top and the bottom and are fairly active. Plus you put five in there ! It would be sweet ! Especially come feeding time !

I said I liked Arowana's I actually said I thought my tank was too small. people like you make me sick, making someone with a 225 gallon tank feel inadequate when there are hundreds of members on here keeping aro's and other monster fish in smaller tanks, go bother them and stay out of my thread if you just want to cause trouble.
I've seen lots of people keeping arros in 2' wide 6 foot tanks, I'm sure they would much rather appreciate a whole foot of width as apposed to length. never once did I even specify I was going to put a silver arowana in the tank...

I like florida gars however I haven't seen them available around here, only longnose and alligators who all grow HUGE.

Since this is a hypothetical question I will say I'd hypothetically make one hell of an octopus tank. With one of those giant smart ones that need toys and mental stimuli in there to play with.

But in reality if I had such a tank it would have to be given to my turtles that could always use a bigger tank no matter how big. :(
