with that foot print i would also do ray or two
I would pass on the rays because if you get anything bigger than the florida rays they become extreme preds and grow huge check out this link mabey you can see the fish on this site and try to figure out what to put in your tank------> http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/aquarium-fish-supplies.cfm?c=15 <-----liveaquaria.com check out the rays they have there:naughty:

thanks you 2 but im gonna have 3 flounder in there and i think theyll take care of the sand room so i doubt ill have room for a ray i would like one but i just dont think itll work and do you think a blue hippo tang would work?

the triggers would probably make lunch of the lionfish's fins.

+1 this is a choice of what do you want more.

ok i think i rather have a lionfish than a trigger but idk whats worse getting stung or getting bit by triggerfish i guess i could try it but if the trigger starts to eat the lions fins im gonna get rid of him. Also are most of theyre growth rates around the same?

You shouldnt have to worry about this. Unless you are pretty unaware of whats going on around you. I was never stung by my lion, and I taught him to be hand fed. The closest I ever came was at the beginning, he would go into threat position against my hand. Never charged though. Then he learned I meant food, and the closest we came then is when he would sneak up behind me during a water change, I would turn and BAM. Lionfish. I think its pretty unlikely that you get stung or bitten.

PS - lionfish stings are supposed to be like a bee sting. So I wouldnt sweat it that much.

also the tangs will eat all the algea so if you have an outbreak you dont have to worry

Tangs will eat all your macro algae, but dont look to them to solve an outbreak of hair algae. They will peck at it, but if things get out of control they wont help. The only way they would help is if your tank was taken over by calurpa. The only way Im able to keep a tang AND calurpa in the same tank is because of how heavily I feed.

Blue hippo would love it in there.

ok youve been a big help so thanks and;
i heard if you get stung by a lionfish warm water will fix it up
and i kinda want a tesselate eel but idk if they would get to big
and i would like either a gold line grouper or a panther one but idk if the panther gets too big and idk if the gold line the fish store has (great fish store has just about everything i could imagine) will lose its color. cause right now it is really beautiful its all black with bright gold streaks goin down its body. Ill probaly order everything off them because they can order anything and they have great advice, theyre great guys, they could get me a deal. so what do you think about
1volitan lionfish
1 gold line or panther grouper
1 tesselet eel or snowflake eel
1blue hippo tang or convict tang
1 porcupine puffer fish
3 founder
1 queen conch snail
1 niger trigger
if i have 2 fish like the gold line grouper and panther grouper could you make a desision on what would be better for the tank? and if you could think of any more fish i could have could you tell me?

well only 4 fish will be swimming around 3 will be in the sand and 2 will be in the rocks so really you will only see 4 fish alot so would it really be that bad?

They have more rays, in the search box type in "rays" the blue spot will appear. This is also the same with ll of thier fish including sharks ;)
