What would YOU do with this aquarium?

Actually would I be able to keep enough exodons?
I have read that they need to be in large groups or they kill each other off.
I actually had the same thing happening with the tiger barbs, WAY more aggressive than I would have thought, until I raised the group to 10 and they have mellowed out.

Ur right it is a terrible shape :D well since it's a tall tank i would suggest angels for the top and rams on the botom. or u could do smaller africans, since u like agressive. put a bunch of mbunas there and watch them go at eachother  and u could also keep shell dwellers like someone said before but that would leave like the upper 2/3 of the tank unused. Or u could do peaceful fish, guppies, swordtails, mollies etc.
btw the "tiger loaches" u mentioned, it looks like it's botia macracanthus or clown loach. Those grow like min 8 to 10"

Africans might be cool, especially if I could stack the rock all the way to the top in the back. Actually after some searching the loach is a Botia histrionica, golden zebra loach. Really cool fish, super active and keeps the barbs in check. Thanks for the ideas!

Given the limited footprint of the tank, I'd probably try those dwarf african frogs that like to swim upwards to the surface.

I'd use it as a breeder tank for mollies. Breed TONS of them, and feed them to the fish in the 110 gallon. It'll be colorful, and you will get free food out of it for your fish in the 110.

Or a dwarf puffer tank would be cool.

I would say that you're pretty much maxed out on stock foe the size of your tank. But if you wanted to go a different route then I would get rid of everything and go with 4 angels.............

Angels aren't a bad idea, I have never tried them. If I go another direction I will get rid of all the fish in the tank and start over.
I like the molly breeding idea, my marbled goby would love it!
