Quarantine Tank
A buddy of mine got an offer from his wifey the other day. She said if you give up fish for a year you can have a 1,000 gallon tank!

Ive been telling him to go for it, think he should? I will forward this link to him....
 
i really dont know what i would do without some kind of aquarium im ny house. i would go nuts. im like full blown addicted to this hobby...........................but a 1000 gal tank, i might have to try it, doubt it would last more than 2 weeks though.

I think MFK would give me my fix for a year. I would also probably spend all my free time at the petshop too thou...lol
 
well thats a no brainer.... i would give all my fish to a friend to hold for a year then have a 1K tank for them in a year

Already talked to him about that. For somebody to hold his current stock would cost him thousands of dollars. His current collection is already monster!
 
might be having drawback twitching after a while but it would give me more time to plan my awesome 1000g stock. dang you, i want a 1000g tank now, i might have to upgrade the 350g plans.
 
Depends.

1. What are his current tanks and stock?

2. What fine print has the wifey put in the contract? NO woman is that cut and dry. If I were him, Id tell her if I went a year with out fish I'd need to fill up my spare time with something else.

Yeah same here. I'd do it. Plus I have MFK books to make up for what I'm not able to actually keep.. :D
