For a medium sized tank in an office that you won't service a couple times a week I would avoid salt water as to high maitainance, I would also avoid larger fish both due to tank size and that only a couple of fish in the tank would not offer enough distraction. A couple of the medium spiney eel or smaller true eels, a pleco, a couple corys or botia, a couple pictis cats, a few mid sized barbs or larger tetras, a pair or large angels or mid sized gouramis, 3-4 African butterflyfish, and 3 red hooks would give a nice mix of movement and color while being hardy, ow maintainance, and fairly easy on the wallet. Remember that tanks in public areas do get abused.
