When I went to RiteAid to pick up my medication, I found a wallet sitting on the shelf. I did not look inside the wallet, I just put it in my pocket. I went to pick up my son in school, and showed him the wallet. His friend saw some cash inside and said, give me a dollar!!! My son, immediately said, no you aint getting any cash from in here. He ask me what to do, and I told him that look for a phone humber or check the address on the drivers license. We found the owner, and gave him the wallet, and he gave me a $40.00 reward for returning it.

I wouldnt keep the 40 bones...but thats just me.

id refuse it but if the owner was really insistent, then why say no.
its a good thing you returned it ,Vince.

Greek warning here:

" Mabuti kang pinoy pare , ipagpatuloy mo yan "

I think you did the right thing eventually, but I would have turned the wallet in to the Rite Aid people right away.

well you did your good deed for the day ;)

I ran into the same sort of situation in downtown Columbia SC after class. I found a wallet with about $200 cash, platinum credit cards, etc. I drove straight to the Columbia PD headquarters and turned it in. Interestingly enough, the officer at the desk was the same cop that had arrested me a year earlier for speeding. He said "Huh, guess you're a good guy after all, I figured you for a drug runner!".

story.. i was helping in a lps and one of my friends(worker there) found over 300$.. he gave it back to the guy, the guy gave him 2$ and said thanks....

i keep anything i find

LOL ill give it back without expecting a reward.. thats my reward right there..
helping a fellow man out.
