I know all the requirements for all these animals.... I was just wanting opinions. Not " get something that can never live in there" kinda speech


I know as much as most of you on herps.


I was just wanting stuff that you would do.


And loconorc.... font make dumb suggestions like the blackhead
and AquataHolic420... i hope you were joking...
 
I agree that blackheads make great pets... and im not arguing at all... I just think that youre suggestions lack a little bit direction. If you really wanted to help you wouldnt have suggested a 2k snake that only a handful of people have bred or kept in the US to someone who is asking what they should put in their empty 125.... My point is that ...and that only ....if the guy had the money and went and bought a 2k black head and then it died shortly after due to him not having the proper resources .... and then in turn says he loconorc youre an ahole for suggesting a 2k snake... Catch my drift...? Im looking for the best interest of both parties involved... the keeper and the kept.... not just what looks cool.... same goes for the red eye thing in the other post... people who care for darts and red eyes are prepared for them .... they just dont get a free tank ... and say hey this is a good tank for the afore mentioned.... if you take it as me being argumentive then take it that way.....but im here to offer some insight on the reality of keeping reptiles.... it requires ALOT of responsibility.
 
Tyler if you want a cool alternative to the bearded dragon try rankins dragons... they are not as common stay smaller and can have a cool little group. There are alot of reptiles that can live in there for life... but it depends on you bro...
 
Well if I had that tank, I'd keep a trio of Crocodile Skinks ([SIZE=-1]Tribolonotus gracilis) in it. You don't see them very often but they are pretty easy to keep and breed. I think their so neat looking too, like little dragons!

a pet for life in a 125? then not an alligator, but in the mean time witha spare tank, gators round here are 12".

Went to someones house with 3 gators in 1 tank, then next time i went there were 2.
 
Problem is, we dont know his situation (well I don't). He could be a millionare with his own private zoo for all we know. He didnt say how much experience and money he had. I said he could upgrade, and its only a suggestion. When he asked WHAT WOULD YOU DO?!?!?!?! I answered truthfully. Thats what I would have done if I had the money. Now quit insulting and arguing with me and stay on topic.

Now on topic, nice suggestion Vicious! I wouldn't have thought of those. I saw my first one in person at the MARS expo, man it was bizarre! If youre done insulting me Tylervsmith, listen to vicious.

Ok, well next time, when someone answers your question don't insult them. You wanted to know what we would put in a 125, and I told you. You didnt specify your budget or for how long.

secret.... it may just become a fish tank because we are going to replace the back pane;) if the glass doesnt cost too much, my dad will pay for the glass, and i will give him my 55 gallon
