jib wasn't really off topic, since he was addressing the TSN's diet of the aro. For the record, I believe he knows what he's talking about when it comes to cats.

As Angler said, Hikari Massivore is an excellent pellet. Give that a try. Pellets are a preferential food, because they are formulated to meet the fish's nutritional needs better than one type of frozen or prepared food. Those (frozen/prepared) foods are great, but they should be part of a wider variety in your fish's diet.

i keep my fish fed, and they do fine together.
had i not stopped feeding the comets, i have no doubt that everyone would be fine. it was my mistake to "starve" the catfish, not my mistake by stocking them together.
no matter how long they live together or how well fed the TSNs are once they get an opportunity they will try and eat tankmates as they are opportunistic feeders
comets aren't good for your fish as they have a very high content of fat, and could cause quite a few probs to your fish
