what would you keep in here?

Green trees would be good. Conditions sound like they'll be perfect. When you put the crix in for the frogs I'm sure your fish will enjoy an occasional cricket snack too.

Down here I've got tons of Cuban tree frogs, not as pretty as the greenies but a bit bigger. Very cool.

Newts, salamanders and green tree frogs, no, your tank is to hot and dangerous for touse species. Both the cat and the bichir can easely eat any of those amphibs and then you risck losing you fish for amphibian toxins. Is realy a risck puting anything there:confused:. You could try african butterfly fish:popcorn:Those look realy cool, are easy to keep and sould prosper in your setup. They are less likely to be eaten because they usualy live rigth behind the water surface and those long fins make them tricky to swallow. They are really exotic looking and there presence sould give the tank a jungly look:drool: Dont forget to quarantine them first. good luck

I say try an American Bullfrog.... They are awesome pets, that eat voraciously and aren't picky about what it will eat. (which is anything alive that will fit in their mouth)
They can be purchased as tadpoles nearly everywhere and are easy to raise..
Definitely more hardy and more fun than any tree frog!!!

tree frogs, if they fall in they will swim out quick and wont get eaten.

a whip snake or rough green snake would be cool. or perhaps a Japalura Splendida

Besides that it is too warm a newt would often come face to face with your catfish and then bye bye newt. The set up is real nice; if it was cooler and didn't have the fish a newt would love it though.

What about when the lizard, snake, or etc. used the bathroom and the waste fell all in the water. Would this mess up the water parameters...?
