What would you keep with a midas?

I keep one with a number of aggressive cichlids in my 125g. i actually have two and a pruple rose queen with fish like bass, jds,green terrors, paratilapia, convicts ect. the list goes on. i would say that they have been together since they wer 1" each. this set up is not typical fas they mature

. While I like their personalities, Im not a fan of the nuchal humps they grow. In the past though, in 125g+ tanks, Ive kept them with trimacs, festae, severums, cyanoguttatus, carpintis, freddi, managuense, convicts, honduran red points, clown loaches, large plecos, pictus cats & synodontisBTW...they look all kinds of ways in the wild, not just barred.
I kept an Argentea, Pearsei, and Blackbelt with my midas and had no issue. Also were 5 silver dollars and a pleco in the tank.
At times I tried different tankmates and never had an issue because my midas was ultra peaceful. He has had a Jack Dempsey, freddie, fenestratus, and convict in the mix at some point. This was in a 210g filltered with two FX5's.

Just about anything that is the same size and aggression could live with a midas. Make sure they are introduced to the tank at the same time at a young age
