What would you pay for a 210 gallon?

It seems like a pretty good deal to me. It depends how badly you need a new tank now and how long you can wait. You can always wait around to find a cheaper price, but I think most people with tanks that big are asking around $1000 or more for theirs (on Craigslist at least). I think most people selling big tanks probably bought theirs new and don't browse fish forums like we do. So they paid a lot and don't know what the real resale value of a tank is. I've seen a bunch of 210 or 240 tanks where people are asking (to me) ridiculous prices like $2,500 but you have to really wait for a good priced one. Anything within $500-$650 for a 210 G tank in pretty good shape with the stand/canopy is fair to me. You should pay more for acrylic and less for glass, maybe by $100-$200.
Well, unfortunately I missed it - he dropped the price down to $500 and someone beat me to it! It would have been a really good deal, grrrr...
I paid $400 on criags for 200 tank steel stand .. crushed coral, and lights and hood be patient you will find a deal
