Well, either you all are really cheap or I got ripped off LOL. No regrets, I feel I got a solid deal.
The tank/stand/canopy are furniture quality. The tank doesn't look brand new, but it's far from looking abused. After giving it a good cleaning I can see that scratches of any sort are minimal, and unlikely I'll be able to see any at all once it's filled.
The filters are in tip top shape as well.
The light is under 1 year old.
When I added everything up brand new it came to $3k - $3.5k. I brought home the package for $800 and feel like I got a solid deal for it.
Maybe if I asked people what they would sell it for I'd have gotten some more objective responses lol.
I can't wait to get this beast full of water. The back is already painted black and I should have it filled up by this weekend. What a pita it was to move though. It was me and one buddy moving it into my basement, and we both hurt today LOL.

I've been watching craigslist for about 3 months now waiting for the right deal on a 6' x 2' x 2' tank or larger to pop up and am extremely satisified with what I ended up finding. I probably could've haggled the price down another $100 or so, but at that point I just wanted the monster home LOL.

I'd say 800 is still a great deal last time I saw a 180 on craigs list around here they wanted 1,800 for tank stand hood and lights. no filters, gravel or decor.
$800 for all of that is a great deal IMO. I see 55's on craigslist where I live that people want $400 for.I have no idea if anyone actually buys them or not.There has also been a 125 gallon on there for a month or so that the guy wants $750.Just the tank,stand,hood and lights.

Honestly.. its all about knowing how to talk to people.. You can add so much stuff and still get away paying dirt cheap... Im a business major.. So I know how to get what I want for the price I want..

800 bux is a steal for all that, 400-500 would be low balling imo. If I was selling that package I would ask for at least 1k. Ppl are just expecting craigslist pricing too much. So don't worry u got a great deal.
