cool deal... do you think they would do okay in my 46 for now until i find a solid deal on a 75 or 55? thats the only thing holding me back is that im fixing to upgrade tanks and if i get them rehome my current stock - if you guys think they could get by in the 46 for a week or two without too much stress ima probably jump on them, he just bumped his thread again that he needs them gone asap and is willing to take offers

I think you should be ok for the time being, I would just make sure to have a divider on hand just I case. As for tank size, don't get a 55. The width just sucks, I would go 18" at least for width.

This is what's wrong with the hobby. I paid nearly half that price for a fish straight from Asia, with better genetics, shape, colors, etc. than that thai silk, including shipping costs. The flowerhorn game is kind to those who use their brain.

financially i have thought and thought and thought and i dont think i can justify dropping $150 at this point with christmas and my gf's birthday coming up, I'm still giving consideration to offering like $80 for the thai since he's lowered his asking price to $110 now but even then thats a nice little chunk, so idk we'll see. I definitely plan to get back in to the flowerhorn game just trying to decide if this is the right time.
