Veggie filters do not exactly = planted tank. I also highly suggest against cycling any tank with fish, especially a tank to house such a large-massed fish.

I am actually going to do a regular pond for koi. We have quite a bit of land. Also doing a pond for native fish. We might actually add a 3rd pond being about 2 acres. The koi, and native fish ponds will be about an acre each. No idea what all will be in the bigger pond.peewee;4805813; said:
I already have a rb pacu. I wouldn't be able to eat it. Also I don't eat fish. Maybe if I can convince my dad to have the other part of the barn which is suppose to be his garage. He has one already and wants to build another. He doesn't need 3 garage's. If I can get him to let me have it I can do a much bigger pond then maybe raise talapia.
