Have a 55g corner tank. Currently has a few blue botia and some pictus cats with a Honduran red point, convict cichlid and an Oscar grow out. Thinking about removing the Cichlids and keeping the bottom dwellers. What would you stock ? I like predatory fish or maybe a single show piece. Here's a pic of how it is at present.

Already have a large cichlid tank, com tank and puffer fish tank.

freshwater lionfish/stonefish
Species name? I believe many of these "freshwater" fish are usually more brackish orientated.

Maybe a group of communal cichlids like "African butterfly" cichlids would work, they are said to be peaceful! Kribensis with Congo tetras? I'm not sure which "predatory" fish would be suitable in a tank that size :1zhelp:

It is brackish but just has the common name 'freshwater lionfish', scientific name is: Batrachomoeus trispinosus

I’d make it an african tank with some african butterfly fish, senegal bichirs, synodontis, and a leaffish.
