I like that idea only issue is they love to hide. Never heard of mud minnows but they look cool. Will have to keep an eye out for themAgreed! Maybe add both variants of the common pictus, then add a pair of Olympic mudminnows

Don't get me started had a few in my time. Already have a single fish tank for the puffer and would like more than one fish. But ery erys are one of my fave fish so may be swayed if I see one soon. Yeah got it like that 2nd hand does add a nice vibe to it.I would get rid of all your fish, and get a red wolf, since you like predators.
I like the background of this tank btw. Looks like a nice display.
Got a semi com tank and really aren't a fan of tetras. Could maybe look at some acaras though.Buenos Aires or congo tetras in a big group and some dwarf cichlid or a severum, electric blue acara, angelfish, or firemouths. All are common carried by fish stores, would likely do well in that sized tank, and are entertaining to keep.
You're kidding right? Now sure if you're trolling here but I've noticed that you keep suggesting temperate native species to people who have tropical tanks!Agreed! Maybe add both variants of the common pictus, then add a pair of Olympic mudminnows

There is currently a very small (I think it's like 2 people) who have a captive breeding colony, so while to the unititiated this seems absurd, it in fact holds waterDeadliestviper7 is trolling. The Olympic mudminnow is a native temperate fish here in Washington state whose habitat is threatened. I’ve noticed he suggests some absurd native species for anyone who asks what to stock in their tropical tanks.
