The question is WHAT XBOX SHOULD I GET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously people, this is why you can't make a thread about anything without people derailing and bickering. Answer the damn question, which means don't speak of PS3's. If you like PS3's and you want to suggest buying a PS3 then this isn't the thread for you! I wouldn't go into a thread titled "What is a good type of goldfish to get for my new tank" then come in saying you should get a bichir. Yes I'm comparing apples to oranges here, but you get the gist. Rant done, have a great day for the ones who are helping him decide which XBOX to purchase. For the others.........

so i dont have to get to have a good day? i want a good day! get the xbox slim cause it comes kniect ready. kiniect is sortaof like the Wii in ways but without controllers and can play FFPS games with it also almost allgames

Go with the slim. You're going to want to be kinect ready when it's launched this christmas.


I'd say most peopel who haven't gotten the red rings are lucky. I bought my original xbox when it first game out and have sent it back to repair 4 times. Buy from the store so the warranty covers problems, otherwise that's a risk YOU took just to get it 50-100 bucks cheaper.

However, i've heard that the red ring problem isn't as common as it use to be with the newer systems. Statistics would be more helpful if you actually knew what generation of xboxs people are reporting as broken.

Yes, the question is what xbox should i get....Alot of answers were...neither, nobody said there was a right or wrong answer, thats just your personal opinion. personal opinions are what this guys gonna get, so its probably not good forum etiquette to go around comanding people to and I quote "answer the damn question". Answering the question is exactly what people are trying to do, you are not the deciding factor whether the answer is right or wrong

And for the record, If there were no more ps3s left in the world and i had to get a xbox, even though 3 xbox's have failed on me already, i believe I would get a slim. So, its my opinion that if you absolutely must have an xbox, go with a slim.

It's pretty much common sense, and if you know your not then why act like it? Just because the question wasnt answered the way you "think" it should be answered is no reason to freak. With a thread like this there is going to multiple dif opinions, some totally off course, that doesnt make them wrong.... Anything further towards me just pm me, as this thread has been derailed enough from totally off course "comebacks".
