What you feed your bichirs?

lol, bummer! how big were the bass and bichirs? did the bichirs eat them the moment they touched water, or did they wait around for a few days?

Bloodworms, shrimp, beefheart, scallops, freezedried brine shrimp(drives them crazy), feeders as a treat, pellets.....anything not nailed down really. My Senegallus aren't very fussy. On a side note, I got to watch my ropefish catch a live feeder.
 
how big was the ropefish? how big was the feeder?


and how active are ropefish, are they comparable to senegals?

- prawn
- live ghost shrimp
- platy
- frog
- bull frog
- bloodworm
- hikari lionhead pellet
- super worm
- mealworm
 
I feed my babies: :hearts:
- Frozen Silversides
- Sinking Pellets
- Frozen shrimp
- Homemade recipe
- Cichlid eggs (sometimes)
