I recently sold my "discus" and I no longer have a bottom dweller fish that eats up the market shrimp that falls to the bottom of the tank. My datnoids, ff, and aro are primadonnas and doesn't eat any shrimp that falls to the bottom of the tank.

I currently have the following stock in my 100 gallon tank

1 x 12" ST
1 x 14" Arowana
1 x 8" NGT
1 x 8" IT
2 x 7" NTT
1 x 8" FF

What would go well with my stock? Preferably a voracious eater. I'm really not into catfishes and I know they crap a lot. I'm not into plecos as well. I've never had any other bottom dweller aside from my discus.

Salamat po!

tinfoils are always hungry as I've observed, dunno if you like them but they eat alot

bichir...lots of bichir...

Bottom dwellers only and hopefully voracious eaters.

How are bichirs?

Endlicheri perhaps? I am liking endlicheri endlicheri right now

Loaches are a great bottom clean up crew. Polypterus will definitely eat shrimp. Up to you.

So loaches eats shrimp as well? I was under the impression that they are vegetarian. Goes to show how little I know about them...

I might get both but big clown loaches are on the expensive side right?

A 3" Clown Loach will go for between $20-40 depending on your area market and how good a deal you can get. An Endlicheri Poly might retail for up to $50 for a 3" fish. The problem with Clowns is that you'll be better off with a smal group. They will definitely eat vegetable matter, but they are omnivores. They will devour almost anything you feed them. They are excellent scavengers.
