What's a good bottom dweller fish?

Hmmn.... That made me think twice about bichirs. I have to go bigger with the clown loach though 'coz a 3" clown loach will definitely be fish food for my arowana.

I love the fact that they are scavengers as well. I will have to do some thinking this next couple of days.

A 3" Clown Loach will go for between $20-40 depending on your area market and how good a deal you can get. An Endlicheri Poly might retail for up to $50 for a 3" fish. The problem with Clowns is that you'll be better off with a smal group. They will definitely eat vegetable matter, but they are omnivores. They will devour almost anything you feed them. They are excellent scavengers.

Hillstream loaches and kuhli loaches don't.

the perfect fish for you is a raphael catfish. They aren't very messy and they only get about 8 inches. also they like the bottem and they look pretty cool(kinda like a sturgeon). I have had mine in tanks where it should have been eaten, but it has barbs on it so nothin really messes with it.

Noah, if you get loaches make sure they're the big ones. Few months back, I added about 10x loaches around 3-4" into my main tank and my 7" indo dat ate them all by the next morning. Bichirs do well too. Up to you bro

Bottom dweller, great eater (don't know if I'd say voracious, though) beautiful, quick grower and they get pretty big.

Don't think I would go with most of what is listed above in this thread specifically because of size or lack of size concerns.

I got 9 clown loaches by the way. They are in the 3.5-5" range in terms of size.

i suggest a vampire pleco they dont get to long buit they get really fat and they look cool
