What's a good deal in a 150?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'm looking to sell or trade for a 5 foot tank. I was offered a 110 xhigh but turned that down. I don't need anymore guns as I don't use the ones I already own sorry

$400-$500 seems expensive for a used tank only. I would do what others have stated and wait for a better deal. Driving 1.5 hours with a glass tank seems like a disaster waiting to happen, try and find one a little closer. For that price i would want the tank, stand, lid, light, filter all cleaned and sparkling delivered to my room and setup !

It really depends on the area the item is being sold. I live in Albany NY and I'm selling my 150 for $350 or trade for a 5 foot tank. Similar setups go for top dollar here. There are 55 gallon tanks on cl here for $400+

I know that is a good deal aquamonster, I just don't have a pile of money right now, sob story blah blah, I was also offering the rifle to the other guy who said he would take it and 100, but I know that isn't a good deal, then he came back with straight up for rifle, so I have no clue. Hate being stuck by finances all the time lol.

seems a little steep. I picked up a 150 last year for 250. tank, stand and glass covers in great shape. filtering with fx5, c530 & mega flow 4. be patient. some one will practically give one away the day after you over pay. thats how it works :)

I wasn't trying to pitch my tank to you but a deal will come along. I know how the money thing goes. I'm trying to sell all my tanks and just have one. Which means I have to decide what fish to keep and which fish to sell. Keep looking and you will find a deal. Also sometimes deals that seam awesome sometimes aren't. I've seen ppl buy huge tanks thag seem in awesome shape for cheap and they end up being bad deals but not always. Good luck and nice AK.
