whats a good monster fish

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I've never been disappointed with a snakehead in my life. Always entertaining, always full of attitude, always hungry, almost always ready to kill. Get a channa.

First answer this, how big a tank and will it share the tank with anything else?

Gumby - : :feedback:

This will help to determine what may work for your tank... there are so many types of "monsters" in so many sizes...

3 by what?

3 by 1? If so, that's a 25/30 gallon.

Your choice is pretty limited. Maybe a couple of dwarf channas, bleheri or gachua. Maybe an erythrinus erythrinus. Maybe a couple of hujetas and a chaca chaca.

If the tank is 12 1/2" wide maybe a spangled perch (Lepitherapon unicolor) and if it is 18" wide how about a silver perch (Bidyanus bidyanus) in both tanks you could also keep a freshwater tongue sole.

Damn Guppy!!

Do you have all these fishes in your head, or do you own the world's most complete book on fish species.

Alot of people over here, where they are natives, don't even know what they are!

i think guppy is a robot and some one has programed him with all this info:thumbsup:

i gotta hand it to you man,you know you stuff

Spangled Perch, as guppy posted a picture of, are extremely active and in my opinion fairly agressive, though i've never given mine live food, maybe tommorow *Thumbs up*
