building is the way to go...
homedepot will even cut the wood for you (50 cents a cut or something like that)
$30-50 in lumber
borrow a drill
$15 in screws
$5 for paint
theres about a million DIY threads and lots of people that will give you advice on how to do it

I agree with building a stand. All the store bought stands i have seen don't look to sturdy i would'nt trust them imo.

i gotta agree with everyone else, if you cant wait. build one. If you need plans, i have a really cool one that is super simple to read /follow/build.
