the dempseys are female so less aggresine. i actually have 1 pacu. so if you want him you can have him. ya i might do a ornate pim with a pictus or 2

if you where refering to the recomend me a catfish thread i forgot about that one. i am jsut so impatient and cant wait for my first monster tank to get done

another Idea if I am not too late is arius jordani or columbian shark which gets to a max of 12 inch... i cannot speak for the water compatibility. they may need some brackish waters or as I have been told.. truth or not... add some coral to the water to change the ph they need and they can be kept in fresh water. hope it works for you let me know. I love these guys but never had the tank for them
why not just keep the pacu in the 125g? They can stand their ground against aggressive buggers. But, no more pacus for me. Those fish have to be the hardiest I've ever seen too.
as for columbian shark...NO.....they do need brackish when they get bigger. I tried them many times over the years before I learned this. Was never able to keep one longer than 6 months. And, they are sensitive to meds, as most cats are.

ok thnx. ya i totally forgot about the thread about recomended me a catfish. as to the thread about monsters i was looking for one for the mid and upper tank regions. i will go with the pims then.
