I have only seen small Scombs in the stores around here so I was kind of excited to see this ten inch tat at a local shop and was thinking about picking it up...until I looked at the price AND thought about the large antisocial armatus that I have at home.I would like to but don't have to keep them together though.The price of the tat is $180,so what do you all think?

I'd say it's a bit high. I wouldn't pay more than $120. I'm in Canada though.

I would bargain and maybe trade in a fish or two to get it lower since that's seems too high, but in the end it's what the fish is worth to you. I've had $5 cichlids give me more happiness than some skittish fish that stresses me out everytime someone walks by and I pay $125 for lol. Just google payara aquabid and you can see all the archived old actions and get a feel of the price of what they've gone for before. But if they wont budge on price I dont see anything wrong with paying $180 for a big red tail tat. price isnt THAT far off for a big healthy one.
Forget that Tat, just make a trip to Toronto, I give you my armatus for half of that price! ^^" (no joke)
I'd pay that much for a 10" Tat especially a local fish - you can see it eat, low stress from transport, and no shipping cost. Don't tell me were it's at or I'll jump on the turnpike and snatch it up.
