I would suggest a FRT, my FRT has absolutely no interest in any live fish.

I would suggest a mata mata or a FRT. As said there is absolutly no guarantee BUT there is a very good chance the mata mata will not do anything. But like what was also said before matas dont like real deep water. Another thing i wanted to state is that matas/FRT are not fast growers and the RDC is. So you might want to watch a reptelian snack for your RDC.

This is way OT, but I really hate mis-information.........All the Matas that I've brought in from Guyana were bycatch from Fisherman using nets in river channels that were anywhere from 6-24+ ft in depth........Even when they noodle them, the water is still waist deep, if not more......

RTC you should be more worried about the fish eating the turtle not the other way around lol there is a pic some where on here of a flate head "i believe" eating a basketball so keep that in mind when paying 900 for a bite sized tank mate
