Hey guys.

Recently someone posted on the marketplace looking for giant fishes.

He later responded that 3' fishes are too big. They were TSN's , RTC's and gators.

Not flaming anyone here. But i just want to know what do you guys think when you hear the word monster/giant fishes? is it a 2' gator? or a 10' :arapaimag?

A monster fish is far different from a giant fish IMO.

A giant fish to me is 2 feet+
A monster fish to me is 5 feet+

I go by what I catch fishing...The biggest fish I catch are monsters ect. So for me a monster is a five foot sturgeon:) In general though, anything over a foot is a big fish in an aquarium, at least imo

It's not the size of the fish but the size of fight in the fish.

With my current tank a monsterfish would be anything up to 6inches :P

IMHO (very humble), I think you've got to take into consideration size, appearance and behaviour.

Take a 3ft African tiger fish... It's a monster, truth be told, it's practically a koi with teeth...but no matter how big a koi you show me, it ain't no monster.

Anything that has the potential to rip my arm off.
