My two Jebao/Jecods are working great. I am going to set up a new tank shortly and I'll be getting another one or two. They are cheap, quiet and energy efficient.
What it looks like is that the power supplies are cheap and crappy. I haven't had any problems with mine because I have two 12000s on my 210g tank and I run them both low so neither of the power supplies get very hot.
