You guys have the wrong idea. The big market fish are the ones the fish shops will carry. Try bristlenose, they breed like mad, and fish stores will buy them up. L066 you won't sell nearly as fast, and will lose several in shipping.
thare are many bristlenose breeders
fish shops pay $1 for bristlenose so thay can sell thim for $5
but L-66 he can sell for $15 on here or aqua bid

Currently i have two bristlenoses (i believe they are male and female *hard to know since both are young*) If they were to breed and i sold the offspring to a LFS or two how much would i be looking at gaining per infant?
And if i were selling fancies - how would i sell them? i dont think LFS's would take them off my hands would they? I've no clue how people ship them

No one is going to buy f1 66 fry for 15 bucks because wild adults can still and will still be able to be purchased for time to come at a modest 30 bucks a fish. I think he was referring to some of the fancier breeds of ancistrus domesticus. They fetch a lot of money.

Pseudocanthicus species. If you can get them to breed. There is gold in them thar fellas!

Key word: If. ;)

Pseudas are almost never bred in tanks.

my frend the breeder sells L-66, L-333, L-201, L-102 L-15, L-260 fry for $15 each

I suppose it is true that I cannot extrapolate pricing throughout the U.S., but I wouldn't buy either peckoltia vittata or L-66 for that price, and I don't know who would, at least in my area. Amongst fry, I sell L-66 and 129 at 10 bucks a pop, 15 for 270, 411, and 316 (and, when I had them, 333s). For who I assume is dale's list (or maybe alga or spsandy or whatever), the L-333, L-102, 260, and 201 would certainly sell for fifteen, given that they tend to always be in higher demand-especially the 102s.

In fact, do you have this individual's contact information? I am looking to buy inspectors, and I never see f1s for sale.
