Hahaha my fh is a super pooper. He's a Thai silk and he's a character lmao he does flips!! But I may have been slacking on water changes.. I'll fix that. And how would I go about power feeding?!!

I can't do the bare tank either. Maybe if I was just selling them. Paint the bottoms and you don't have reflection issues though. Malaysian Trumpet Snails are amazing creatures my substrate is half them. I try to use larger gravel so that siphoning is easier. Power feeding is accomplished by feeding your greedy little water pig whenever he's hungry.

I've never had luck with a fh in a bare bottom tank. Their reflection on the bottom glass always spooks them and stresses them out.

I have had this same issue. I use Hikari bio gold and give the fish frozen beef hearts and frozen blood worms as treats weekly before water changes.
