Where Palm Trees Grow
I just got 300 bucks to spend on a new tank and I'm trying to decide which tank I want to get. I'm going to get a 125 gallon tank but all I've found are tanks that are 4 ft long by 2 ft wide and I'm trying to decide what's better. I really need some help people!

If you are going with smaller more active fish the 6 feet length is better. If you go for the larger less active fish, have a 24 inch wide tank is better. Although getting both is the best :)

Keep saving and purchase something that will be useful over time, like a 180g 6' X 2' wide version. However, if you are limited to a 125g, go with a 6' version. ;)

you should change the title of this thread or you will get wierdos like HOuse_64 and R1_ridah giving you advice about something other than tanks.

I think its really up to what kinda fish your into.

:ROFL::ROFL: too true.

What fish do you want to keep? Where in the house is this? Which size will look better there?

I have a 4x2 and a 6x1.5. They both have their advantages. I don't like only having a 4 foot tank. But it fits the spot in the house.

Honestly.....Wow, youre so overstocked and underfiltered. They need at least a 4000 gallon tank with a million times turnover rate for filtration along with 300% daily w/c's. Make sure to treat with prime and you'll be gold!

Some dats,barred silver dollars,red texas,brycons,fw barracudas,and some payara. All of those are my choices and the wall I will be putting it on is 8 foot in my living room.
