That is some bs they would serve that giant salamander.
Such a shame how they could knowingly kill endangered species.
I would have bought all 3 and taken them to a sanctuary.

Although they are still being overharvested in the wild, the good news is that farming them is becoming more common and effective.

So hopefully these people sourced their giant salamanders responsibly.

I've actually eaten salt water stingray. Very good, had a definite shellfish quality to it. Not only in taste but in texture, very much like a scallop. In fact in San Felipe they use cookie cutters on stingray and sell them as scallops. We caught ours fishing while camping in Baja.

The salamanders are farm bred in China.
