Well, 2 in a 150 should be plenty, especially when you add a large pleco. When I was in college I had a pacu that was a little over 18". Not sure on exact length, but he had trouble turning around in my 150 I had at the time. If you have really good filtration you could try an XXL oscar or another sturdy cichlid.

Still have a couple items for sale:

Eheim 2262 + 6 boxes of extra media - $200 :WHOA::WHOA: (this is a $500 dollar filter and spanks the fx5!)

Sumpreme classic 9.5 utility pump (rated at 950gph) - 1 week old, used only for 2 days! my loss your gain ----- $50 obo

2 scooter blennies -$10 each

4 damsels - free to good home

I may ne getting that Eheim. Im probably going to sell my 265 since I wont be moving and getting a 125 - 180, thats all that can fit in my place.

Hit me up man. $200 bucks includes bio-balls (which were used for 4 weeks), and 6 boxes of filter media. I've only used 3 boxes of media in the 12months its been running, so you shouldn't have to buy anything for it, for a long time. Also this filter flows 900gph, that's almost twice the gph of an fx5! In fact having owned an fx5 I can say that this filter is hands down superior (of course it costs a a couple hundred more :D)

So can I run that on a 125 - 150 alone? or should I get another filter just incase?

Well, it will handle a 125-150 easy, but a second filter is always good in case it would break, jam, or some other unlikely event were to occur. However, if you were not gone for an extended period of time I wouldn't sweat running just one filter.
