I'm not working at HOT tomorrow, I get off from my f/t job at 5:30 can be at HOT around 6:30.

The fishing spot is near Davidsonville/Crofton/Bowie area so it's closer to you than HOT, gonna be an EARLY trip. I'd like to get there around 5AM

Driftwood is at Patapsaco state park near my house.

My fishing hole was an old sand and gravel quarry, it's off limits to the public but I know the property manager, and he lets me fish there :D

Here's a google map shot and some actual photos from there

And here's a satellite image of the place, notice the lower left most pond, it's actually filtered and you can see like 20' into the water. You can see schools of LMB, talk about sight fishing :D

The large lake at the top produces more 8-9lb bass than anywhere in MD I've ever fished, including the Potomac, and is 92' at it's deepest.

This place is the BOMB and I've never left here with less than 25 catches in a day.

For bait (so you all can be prepared)

Large Lake only: Med to Deep diving crank baits
For the rest of the ponds and shore fishing the large one: 4-5" senkos, double tail hula grubs, plastic lizards (for pickerel)
Colors for plastics: Watermelon, watermelon/black flake, pumpkin seed, blue/black, chartreuse for lizards

These plastics/color combos will work on all ponds

Topwater: Hula poppers, black buzz baits and 4" senko's retrieved very fast across the surface (looks like a small snake swimming across the surface)

There's one pond with a ton of small tree trunks growing up from beneath, I'd recommend have at least one pole with 20lb braid for pulling fish outta the trees. (see the background of the pic of me holding the LMB)
