Yes, they are for sale. They will be fine in the 55 gallon until they get big. They are being kept with parrots and red shocks that are similar in size and doing fine. But as they grow, they will have to be seperated due to agression. 55 gallon should be big enough to house 1 adult FH, maybe 2 if you must.

When you say one FH do you mean as in the only fish in the tank?

For the FH to look in the best shape, yes. Secondly and mostly, for aggression issues. But if you keep them in a community tank since they are fry(which these are), they will do just fine with other fish in the tanks(as long as they are cichlids)

If all these don't sell, I am actually planning to put them in my 300 gallon community tank, I think they will do just fine;)

I'm going to DC in November for some site seeing and of course that means hitting up some LFS's. Can anyone help me out in locating some good ones, so I can plan a fairly efficient route. I will be staying in Arlington, VA (family), but spending a good deal of time in DC. Feel free to PM me with suggestions, or post them here. I just thought you folks would know better than anyone. I'll probably avoid Petsmart and Petco as we have them here, but I'm not opposed to chain stores other than that. I'm looking for oddballs and monsters of course, but anything interesting.
I appreciate the help. I'll skim the thread and maybe pick something up from one of you too... ;)
