I think egg-crate has is too wide, either the oscars could get through, or the jurense will get through and have a got at the O's.

You could get a 10G for real cheap and add water from one of your other tanks to cycle it quicker and put the O's in there until the outgrow it.

yo big, you can wrap eggcrate with nylon mesh(window screen material), works great for small fish.
