next year if anyone want to do some giant squid fishing in sad diego for a weekend let me know, a trip of a lifetime for sure, sry for bad pics, it was dark, the second night we took better pics of bigger ones, i got same crazy pics, but there not on computer, if we ever go fishing ill bring them for sure

I wish i would have done some fishing when i was stationed in san dog... Those look cool, so how fun were they to catch ??? do they fight much ???
 
sry just was looken at some old fishen pics, i miss cat fishing, i know its mostly on eastside, but anyone know any good spots.
me my wife and buddy use to go to this gated lake and fish for cats late at night. we would then bring them to or lake by our house. they only had smaller channels in there bc it was new. but now there is some monsters in that lake lol. my buddy tells me now when they have the kids fishing derbby there was like 10 little kids that lost there poles in the water lol. awww good times

they dont fight but it took more than one of us to get them in and over 30 min, u fish 1100 feet down. with like 5 to 10 pounds of weight(depends on wind and current. and u drop all the way down real up and then do over, at 1st i asked them how do u know u have one bc im alrdy tired and it feels like i have a huge fish on. all they said was oh u will no. and yep i did. once hooked u cant give any slack or they get lose, so u gonna real from 1100 feet down and non stop, its like puting a bucket of rocks on hook and reeling up. as night goes on they move closer to top. 1st one i got shot a gallon or so of ink on me. and his cups have teeth so when they get u they tear of circles of skin lol. that and the beak is huge, i kept one
 
i saw someone cat a 101 pound blue cat in san diego. was crazy
