Just throwing it out there...
But anyone ever build a Plywood tank?

I want to build a 4'x30''x24'' but I've never built a tank before, so It would be nice to have some help from more experienced/handy people.
 
Check out the DIY section.. there are a bunch of threads on plywood tanks, and some very good ones too..
 
Yeah, I've been looking.
But I'm just afraid to screw it up.
LOL.

I dont have a circular saw either so... Not sure if I'll be building a tank.

get it pre cut, then get a cheap ban saw or something to get odd edds and stuff.

If I build a pong like Miles has, I wouldnt need to cut very much at all.
Been eyeing that thread for a while as i like his design.

I dunno though. It all depends on how much $$$ i have this summer and how much time i have.
 
unless you're gonna build a huge plywood tank i believe it's not worth it. After the stuff i've read they are pretty pricey, but they are more worth it the larger tank you build. I'm thinking of building one once i get my own house but even then it's gonna be like 8 or 10 feet long by 4' wide and 4'tall.. just to make it worth it..

ya if build one i would want it 300 or ever 400+ or im not gonna bother.
 
well 4 of us went on saterday. it was awsome. i took a cpl pics of us fishing, enjoy. i took a few pics of everyone
1st pic is amputatedbrain, he kinda just sat ther whole time drinking:screwy:

2nd was THEtrust/ i was scared to fish with him bc he sure looked like he new what he was doing, didnt wanna cross lines with him,:ROFL:

3rd is USMCtanker i havnt seen the sun in forever lol

ya thats right guys you missed a ton of fun with us cool cats, we killed the fish for sure lol

naw we got 5 little perch but that was it. 4 of witch happen back to back when THEtrust to left so we think he is bad luck
