yep yep, most of us have all diffrent sizes, and tank setups, so we do alot of tradeing back and forth, but everytime its to a good home and someone that we know will treat the fish acrodingly, plus we always talk so u can still see ur fishs and see updates on how its doing

I've had most of my fish for over a year now, bought as small juvies last May. Sometimes though I get a couple extra to make sure I get a pair or a lone male, then get rid of the extras.

I just picked up a breeding pair of Petenia splendida off Craigslist. Male is almost a foot, female about 8".

Stopped by Chinatown to see what they had, only Kings was open. QT and Liams were closed. They had 3 Barramundi - Lates calcarifer for $45, looked very healthy and active. Had a huge 16" male black belt, and a huge 14" (male) pair of P. synspilum. Several stressed indo dats in the 4" range, he wanted $105 for them. Couple nice rays for ~$200 and some very large Aust arowanas for $250. Also had lots of that flowerhorn junk.

Yeah, the guy in North Seattle. They look pretty good. If they don't do well in my tank I'll let you know.

The Barramundi were 4-5". Looked very active and healthy. At the front of the tank begging for food.

They also had a 6" odoe pike for ~$45. Forgot that one.

With all the post selling and buying, does anyone keep the fish they buy rather than just passing them around like collector cards?
I was thinking about selling my fish, but I would really like it to go to a good home that isn't going to get sent off later to someone else or sold to a pet shop, who knows what could happen to it then..

most the people on this forum are educated enough for me to not worry to much about selling/trading a fish to them.... craiglist is a different story

Haha. It's a nice car, but I'm probably going to be getting a Nissan 240sx, or a Datsun 240z.
