We used to be able to get sweet deals through Johnptc in cali but he can't get the good deals anymore.. he told me the best way to go now is through ebay..
 
I have 2 EMP-400 Filters - $25 each or both for $40
2 glass flip up tops fit 75/90 gallon tank - $10 each
Fluval 1 plus Filter - $12
4 White tip tetras - $7 - will need atleast a 29 gallon tank
1 Badis Badis - $3 - will need atleast a 20 gallon tank
and possibly 2 small badis badis $7 for both

I've actually just been looking on ebay, and cant seem to find any... :(
