I am fairly new to the aquarium scene, and am wondering were some of these stores are located. I have seen QT mentioned in this thread, were is it? I have stopped by King's Discus, andhave shopped Pet Pourri many times, as well as Jones & Co up in Marysville. Are there any others in the area? I have heard good and bad things about the Fish Store on Roosevelt, what is the attitude towards them on here?

Kris

The 3 main stores you'll hear about in China Town in Seattle is QT, Kings Discus and Liem's.. I usually only go to the first 2.. Liem's was shut down the last time i was there but then again that was a month or more ago. As far as north end fish stores go we're limited.:irked: You might try the one Cory works at up in Conway i think is where it is.. Seems like he has good fish and good deals too..

Cheap HOB's and a canister filter to anyone who needs one!!!!
1 AC300 HOB $25.00 (Rated for a 70 gal i think)
1 Penguin HOB forgot exactly the numbers on it but will post today when i get home. $25.00
1. Magnum 350 $40.00
Just clearing out some fish stuff out of the garage.

What kind of filters are you looking for ??? If you're thinking FX5's try ebay, or sometimes you'll find a non-local member that can ship to you at a good price.

magnum 350 for 40. that is a good deal. i am broke right now.

bridges is a good store. the new one is huge. they weren't stocked up on fish yet last time i was in there. it has been a month or so since i was there. it should be a great fish store.

I was really thinking that i was going to have at least one x-large wet/dry i have built two that worked but not as well as i would like. ( i just used junk for media). i managed to score like 75 literal gallons of bio balls. i started some diy acrylic welding with fair results. i will build a filter eventually but i am eager to get this up and running, i know that my home made version is still a ways off. looking for a xl wet/dry to support a few fish. Thanks guys!

I went into Bridges pets in Snohomish last Saturday and they still didn't have a whole lot. But Pet-pourie in Everett had alot of nice fish. Even had a Jar and some spotted gars i was surprised.

Anyone been to China Town lately ??? anything new and good ??? Might go tomorrow..
