What's going on!!!!????

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Joey are some of the fish blind already? Taking out the gravel later may stress the fish more imo. Water change and salt are essential... Hoping for the best for your fish!

personally I would leave the gravel for now.. gonna lose a lot of beneficial bacteria if you remove it now.. assuming its not a new tank ?

hey guys, thx a lot, the fish are acting really diffent in a good way, when I got home from school I lost one but thats it, which im mad about. anyway, they are swimming around and being really actice. so going to see how they are at the end of this week end and see how they, them hopfully into the tank they where in, after a water change and good cleaning.

I'm with Monster Peacock. Major water change like 70%, add a Lot of aquarium salt (3-4 tablespoons per every 5 gallons, and crank up the heat of those babies for about 3 weeks. Do multiple 20-30 water changes per week (I do then every other day in this situation and have had luck). Important when cranking the heat up, do it slowly and add air stones and possibly a pump. The fish are going to need oxygen when the water's that warm. It'll take a couple of weeks, but your guys should pull through.

Your tank shouldn't have any ammonia if it is cycled.. Water changes are going to keep prolonging the cycle if the tank hasn't already completed one. Find a buddy with a hospital tank that you can use until you resolve your water quality issues.

still wondering whats the filtration, stock and gallons of that tank?

All very good question.. what type of filtration are you running and what is your water change schedule like? How long has the tank been running is probably another valid question.
