I had Tiger Barbs who did this off and on, they would really get into it and then be best buds after. If their colors are changing it's most likely fighting, if the color stays the same then perhaps it is mating.

they dont ssem like there changing colors just because there such a bright color so if there fighting than dam but if there getting ready to mate that would be awesome thanks for your input
