Calcium and alkalinity would be more useful than a phosphate test.

What kind of lights are you using? Your quesiton about light is a yes, the greens and oranges usually require higher light than the pinks and purples.. (generally) This will clear up a lot about whether your tank could still be going through a bleach out. Low light will usually let corraline die off and thus bleach slowly, High light will bleach it out fastly.

Well as far as alkalinty goes. Its where its suppost to be. I don't have a test kit for calcium yet but I ll get one soon the lights I have are made for marineland and it a natrual daylight bulb and a marine glow. That gives it a blue color

How many watts? What kind of system is it? Powercompact etc...

Phosphates apparently inhibit coraline algae's ability to synthesize cal and mag...so one of those might be nice to have too.

I have seen coraline growing under pretty minimal lighting. I have a 150w over a 125g L and I am growing coraline on rocks that are basically just getting sunlight for now.

buy some purple up itll get your coraline back, i think it might just be die off

Just increases your calcium and mag levels basically...if your tests say that those nutrients are fine I wouldnt add any.

Dont dose anything you dont test for, and dont dose anything your tests say you dont need to dose for.
